Architecture Fringe 2018
Architecture Fringe 2018
08 - 24 June 2018
across Scotland
The third edition of the Architecture Fringe took place in June 2018 and was structured under the provocation of COMMON/SENSES. 'Common' sought to explore our varying experiences and use of our built environment in tandem with the more sensorial aspects of architecture.
Our sell-out Opening Party at the Glasgow School of Art was creatively curated by FORIJ with visual art, live performance and DJ sets from the city's most dynamic emerging and early-career artists. From activism in Land Reform under discussion at Abriachan with Fearann Land, contemporary dance and civic performance in Aberdeen with artist Emily Speed and dancer Jack Webb, to an urban summer school in Glasgow with Test Unit and a focus on women in architecture with Voices of Experience - the Architecture Fringe 2018 was the largest and most geo-graphically widespread festival to date.
