Guest Critics is an open directory of people who want to talk about architecture.

Guest Critics is an idea by Charlie Porter in response to a tweet by Andy Summers. Charlie and Andy have created Guest Critics to help widen the pool of guest critics in schools of architecture.

The platform is intended for emerging voices, fresh perspectives, or people who are underrepresented within this space.

To our knowledge only two schools in Scotland offer guest critics a fee as standard (Scott Sutherland in Aberdeen, and ESALA in Edinburgh). We are encouraging all schools to offer a fee to invited guest critics to support access, equality, diversity, and inclusion.
